If the Earth warmed 4 degrees, Roberts suggests that we'd have "Hell on Earth", with maybe half of Earth's species going extinct.  According to Roberts, we're on track to see 6 degrees C. of warming by 2100.  We're also allegedly on track to see 12 degrees C. of warming by 2300; if that happened, about half of currently inhabited land would be so hot that "if you go outside, you'd die of hotness".  Roberts also claims that "our present course leads to certain catastrophe".
