THE HOCKEY SCHTICK: New paper confirms findings of Lindzen & Spencer of very low climate sensitivity to CO2
A paper under review for Earth System Dynamics uses a novel technique based on satellite data and surface air temperatures to find that global warming due to increased CO2 is is much less than claimed by the IPCC. According to the author, the findings confirm those of Spencer & Braswell and Lindzen & Choi that a doubling of CO2 levels would only lead to an increase in top of the atmosphere temperature of 0.67°C, or global surface temperature of about 0.18°C, instead of the alleged 3°C claimed by IPCC computer models.Obama, media ignore climate, clean energy in press conference | JunkScience.com
“And we’ve got to reach for energy independence,” is all he said.THE HOCKEY SCHTICK: New paper finds climate sensitivity to CO2 is about 63% less than IPCC claims
A paper under review for Climate of the Past finds on the basis of reconstructed temperatures and CO2 during the Oligocene epoch that the climate response to increased CO2 is only about 1/3 of that estimated by the IPCC.Coal Death Trains Keeping Millions Alive | Real Science
With record cold over much of the northern hemisphere, coal death trains are keeping millions of people alive. Hansen calls this inter-generational crime.THE HOCKEY SCHTICK: New paper shows sunshine on the Balkan Peninsula significantly increased over past 50 years
People need to recognize that CO2 is keeping them warm and that they don’t need fossil fuels any more. A couple of Solyndra solar panels should be all that they need to stay cool.
A new paper published in Climate of the Past reconstructs June-July sunshine hours in Bosnia- Herzegovina from 1660 - 2010 and finds a significant increase in sunshine over the past 50 years to some of the highest levels of the past 350 years.
